A Beauty Lover's Dream: The Dollup Case by Nikki Hynek

When I do my make up on the go, I feel like I'm lugging a bag and make up brush roll AND hunting down a mirror in the process. This is usually on parent teacher conference nights when I have zero time to mess around. I was so excited when I learned about the Dollup Case. It totally solves this problem! I was even more excited to see that it was made by gal who is an Iowan and friends with my brother.

Nikki Hynek, founder and creator of the Dollup Case, is a makeup artist maven fully immersed in the world of high fashion, color, inked eyes, tinseled lashes and girl-next-store skin. As a celebrity makeup artist, Nikki has passionately enjoyed a career in the cosmetic industry with a myriad of accolades and successes that include magazine covers, feature films and creating looks for high-profile clients.

Nikki set out to design the perfect cosmetic case to house her everyday essentials after finding a deficit in multitasking cosmetic bags. Admitting that she always did her makeup on-the-go, Nikki was determined to make a carry case that organized makeup for ease of application, could be used for quick touch-ups and that was so vogue it could be carried as a clutch. Nikki hopes that women everywhere enjoy dolling up for the day with the Dollup Case!

I was thrilled when the case Nikki sent me was PINK! There are four color options for the Dollup Case, and they're all gorgeous. But if you know me, you know I love pink! When the case is opened, it lays flat.  There are elastic slots to keep make up brushes or other items, and there's a mirror on the right. I put in a variety of things I thought I might want to have on hand at school or on the go.

Under the mirror is a magnetic plate. It's there to hold little pods of eye shadow, blush, and powder.  Most every eye shadow and blush I buy is housed in a little metal pod within its case. I just pried them out of their cases, and they attach right on to the magnetic plate. There's plenty of room for more beyond the couple eye shadows and cheek stain I put in there for now.

The mirror can be propped up inside the case - perfect for having both hands free to apply make up.

Besides being functional, the Dollup Case is darn cute!  I'd have no problem having this as my clutch on a night out! Everything I need right in one place.

What do you think of the Dollup Case?

Nikki sent me the Dollup Case to review, but the opinions are all my own.
