This post was brought to you by Proctor and Gamble. The information from this post, the gift card I received to purchase Pampers as well as the gift card for the giveaway were provided by them.

Diapers are vital in our house these days. With two kiddos age two and under, we are using a lot! I have always been a fan of Pampers. Their Swaddlers are my go-to diaper with our little babies and I've been supper happy with their  Baby Dry Diapers for our kiddos as they've gotten older. Today I'm excited to share what Pampers and Walmart are doing to help kids!

Did you know that Walmart and Pampers are donating $200,000 to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals this month? Any time this month that you purchase Pampers from Walmart, a portion of the proceeds with be donated to CMNH!

·         Your support helps provide 32 million patient visits for 10 million kids every year
·         One in 10 kids in North America is treated by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals each year
·         Every day, member hospitals treat 16,000 children in emergency rooms
·         Every hour, member hospitals provide surgery for 97 children
·         U.S. members hospitals provided $3.4 billion in charity care in 2012

I was so touched to read many stories of how Children's Miracle Network is helping young patients. A story that definitely tugged on my heart was about a boy named Will. Not only is Will from Iowa, but he is not much older than my oldest son, Henry.

Stage 3 Liver Cancer (Hepatoblastoma)
Age 6

Dozens of vacuum cleaners line the walls of Will’s home, and he’ll impress you by rattling off the make and model of each one. But his unlikely passion for the household appliance is less surprising than the fact that he beat a grim diagnosis with a 5 percent survival rate.

Will was only 2 years old when a large mass was discovered on his liver, triggering several rounds of intense chemotherapy and the removal of 75 percent of the organ. It was a happy day when doctors declared he was in remission, but Will is still facing aftereffects — both physical and emotional of the disease.

Medications caused numbness in Will’s hands, legs and feet, forcing him to relearn how to walk. He also had to overcome fears that everyone he encountered would inflict pain. With the love and support of his family, Will is tackling one obstacle at a time. He looks forward to a bright future that, hopefully, includes running his own vacuum shop one day.

CMN Hospitals funds helped cover Will’s pharmacy bills and also paid for a pediatric hematology oncology research laboratory that will benefit kids like him for many years to come.
